Q1. Does your organisation develop technical products (including civil sructures, software, etc), processes or services for its own use or in order to sell these products / services? Or if you are an SME do you subcontract such R&D to another organisation? If Yes - go to next question. Would your technical personnel say that at the end of the projects they had gained knowledge that they did not have at the start, either of how to achieve the goal or even of ways that did not work? Yes - go to next question. No please still feel free to call us as you may still have an eligible area.
- Q3. During the course of the project was there one or more points where the technical professionals involved faced problems to which they either could not deduce a solution from what they already knew or from what was in the public domain or where they had a number of potential solutions, but did not know which would provide the best result?
- If Yes - you would appear to have eligible activity which should be considered for an R&D tax claim.
